Books I Find Interesting

B.Glen Rotchin

The cover of this book reminds me of an old, filled sketch book. It is worn around some parts and is held together by an elastic band.

BrianDettmer

Dettmer's work invloves the alteration of media to transform the physical form or to selectively remove and reveal content to create works of art.

Little ones,
A series of mini books

I think the covers of these small books are all beautifully designed and made. They make the book more personal with the stitching and fabrics used.

Pop-up book of light

The Book of Lights is a pop-up book cleverly disguised as a linen-bound hardcover book. The lamps all have a battery connected and light up.

They come in traditional lampshade and Parisian streetlamp models.

Laser-etched acrylic sheet, wood and raffia
The cover of this book is made with Raffia over wood. There are eight pages that fan out into a half circle. The sheets each have a haiku to do with travelling.
The lights on the glass sheets really make the book draw your attention when displayed.
